Joomla 1.6x and 2.x Installation Instructions
Signup and Site Submission Required to fully install plugin.
For Joomla 1.6+ you will need to install a Module and a Component for Text Link Ads from the Extensions Manager.
- Go to Extensions -> Install/Uninstall and upload the mod_textlinkads.zip file via the Upload Package File path.
- Go to Extensions -> Install/Uninstall and upload the com_textlinkads.zip file via the Upload Package File path.
- Go toExtensions -> Modules Manager
- Click the checkbox next to the Text Link module and then edit.
- Change the Title to something like "Resources" or "Related Links".
- Change the Position to the position you want to display the ads in the template you are using. This step is important for your ads to display.
- Change Status to "Published".
- Set the Start Publishing Date to sometime in the past or now.
- In Menu Assignment, set the Module Assignment to "On" all pages. Don't worry, the ads will only show on the pages you have setup keys for. Click Save

This is the Joomla Native Plugin and works with Versions 1.6+. It has also been tested with version 2.5.1 and is compatible with those as well.
