WordPress Plugin Installation

To install a plugin, please follow the list of instructions below.


   1. Upload the plugin to the "wp-content/plugins" folder in your WordPress directory.
   
   2. Activate the Plugin:
   
       1. Access the Plugin Panel in your Admin Panel.
         
       2. Scroll down through the list of Plugins to find the newly installed Plugin.
            
       3. Click on the Activate link to turn the Plugin on. 
         
   3. If you are placing ads on your website, place the function call in your template:
   
       1. Access the Presentation Panel in your Admin Panel, and choose Theme Editor.
         
       2. Select the file where you want the ads to appear. We suggest choosing Sidebar:
         
             1. To display the ads on all pages of your site, insert <?php tla_ads(); ?>
                into the file.
                  
             2. To display the ads on the home page only, insert
                <?php if( is_home() ) tla_ads(); ?> into the file.
                  
             (This call *cannot* be placed within a post, it must go in the template.)
               
       3. Click the Update File button after the changes have been made.
         

You are all set. You will receive an email confirmation once the script is installed.



Website Ad Publishers

If you have ads enabled on your website, a test ad will appear for 12 hours. This will
show up as a "Test Link Ad" link. Once it disappears, nothing will show up until ads are
purchased on your site.



Feedvertising Publishers
--
If you are selling ad space, a sample advertisment will appear at the bottom of your next
blog post in your RSS feed. After that, nothing will show until ads are purchased on your
feed.

If you have reserved ad spots for personal use, you may begin using these right away.
Publishers who are using the plugin for 100% personal use will not receive the sample
advertisment.
